It funny how we all compute things differently. I don't mean to be negative, we all want success, what idiot wants his investment to fail, counter-intuitive. I was just thinking this morning "man we sure don't feel like a company heading to the Nasdaq from a position of strength", then I read your post.
We've backed off a central thrust for going to the Nasdaq, a raise to bring institutional support on line. Why? Because we don't have any share momentum, things haven't gone as planned, that an objective fact, now confirmed by Mr. Mika with the changed game plan. We didn't alter because of strength, but short term weakness. Who will support the stock on the Nasdaq, isn't that part of the reason you give some American bankers a share deal?
We have money for now, but the clock ticks and it's still on the table moving forward. Didn't we need money for the wearables opportunities, etc? Our joint partner in SP was always footing the bill there, so how is that suddenly used as rationale to not need a raise, it was never a consideration. Again because the conditions aren't favourable right now, again that completely obliterated this idea of strength. Citing some quote someone make months ago and arguing it today, well that's hardly persuasive. I could find a ton of embarrassing quotes to show things are "pragmatic" with promises and what not. Not slagging our management, I still believe, but I'm not talking all their past words like pablum.
It kind of feels like we aren't going from strength but necessity. We telegraphed a move a long time ago, heck the urgency was such we needed a special vote. That looks absurd now. We do have to go, we're stuck now, but make no mistake we do so with diminished rationale, evolved thought processes and a stock mired in malaise. I've seen stock move to the big board with wind in their sails, does this really feel like it here, or moreseo "we just have to get on with it"?
Again, it's interesting how the same set of facts can be interpreted so differently. Let's hope we do well short term, we better have substantial news, because of you think the Venture is maniplualred, hold onto your hats....
Good luck to all of us, obviously.
