Message: Personal prejudice prevails following Needham

The level of insight into the utility and efficiency of the POET Optical Interposer Platform, delivered by Suresh Vekatesa at each respective presentation, has been refined and expanded significantly over the last year.

What drives his insight?

For me it is clear that its POET's own customers.  It is they that are providing the evidence of the performance, utility of the OI and providing development ideas. These are SV's daily conversations with customers, with the added input from POET's engineers working directly for customers, all proof positive now of how POET awareness is growing and the customer base, our company's principle focus surely as well.

The notion that he SV has to dumb down just how innovative and groundbreaking POET products are, seems totally counterproductive to me. We should let his genius and enthusiasm flow. We are in the know albeit with no names.

A number of posters here have laid out excellent lists of simply stated POET OI benefits, that are also front and centre on the Company Web Site.  Surely, there are plenty of resorces for researchers to get their teeth into, for both DD and reports.

Furthermore, Tom Mika clearly indicated the company's analyses of why PTK lingers in the Dauldrums, its on the wrong markets.  As there's time for fund raising late, the consquent decision to proceed with uplifting without fund raising is a good one, POET'S development is moving forward as are reasons to invest expanding. Now is a good moment.

Finally, please accept that Tom Mika knows far more about what lies ahead for POET than he can ever divulge, it must be so difficult for him to restrain the natural desire to spread the 'good news'; we should be more understanding about his position, which can seem restrained for this reason.

Some comments here verge on lible  ' seeking to damage a person in his trade or profession'.  Let's then recognise his difficulties and be more considerate of his contribution to POET and more realistic as regards the notion that some 'whizz kid ' can be parachuted into the company to walk in his shoes at such a critical juncture in the POET story.  That to me would be lunacy, damageing, disruptive and plain bad management.

Too many are allowing personal prejudice to dominate common sense.
