I agree with you that "Twitter is the standard these days". Period.
For me this doesn't necessarily mean it's the replacement of sliced bread as the ultimate thing. I see it as an "accelorator of hypes", not as a "conveyor of truth". There was a reason for my apologies as a white heared old man... Yet, looking at the business world, there's still an element of achievement beating Twitter in the long run. And "the long run" is what we old folks specialize in. We have not been in here for the quick buck, but for a unique story, aah, "narrative" in new language, and whilst we may appreciate promotion by young activists we still believe in the fundamentals of what a company achieves. Old school, outdated, boring... but not the worst of investment strategies so far...
