I find it a little disappointing that POET is not participating at the CIOE. I wonder what reasons they have. Cost/Time?

They have to transport everyone interested in the demonstration from the exhibition to their site. Hopefully they 

 - find the right interested people (Suresh´s and Vivek´s Rolodex may help here)

 - convince them to go this extra mile.

On the other hand the infrastructure at their site is more suitable for a high tech demonstration than a booth. And they can protect their samples and IP better "at home" without thousands passing by.
