jays123... LWLG is now up almost 20% on a news release that they are moving to production 

To be clear that is not what LWLG announced. They announced the grant of a patent that is  expected to  enable PDKs.

 

The good news from my perspective is that they report that implementation of this patent improves reliability. It would be great if they have improved the expected lifetime (which I have not seen published) associated with the organic composition (chromophore) then maybe POET could consider using this lightning fast and energy efficient OE polymer modulator. There have been significant improvements over time with OLED displays but I do think that at this point in time POET is relying on the proven reliability of silicon modulators which have been around long enough to be state of the art.
