Message: Rename POET to "Groundhog Technologies"?

Postings in this thread with feelings about both the SP and Mgmt's news policy seem to repeat themselves with only minor changes for weeks, month and years. And, yes, my own patience is also growing thin with the carrot before our mouths still dangling a few inches too far ahead.

Still we should expose ourselves to the cold light of day: we know that samples aren't out yet. We know, it's only Alpha-samples to go out soon. We know, we'll have to go through a few iterations still before some customer may bring some product with "POET inside" to the market. And at the moment we're in the middle of an important OFC-conference, where decisions may be prepared by potential partners, while at the same time milions of warrants are being dealt with. Every day may appear a Groundhog Day for us - yet certainly not to Suresh & Co.

Well, even the Bill Murray movie had a happy ending. Or is it that between POET and Mr Market something is "lost in translation"? I second this feeling about POET's marketing deficiencies to a certain extent, but exculpate the current team by pointing to PC's scorched earth left behind...

To those of you who oppose to this comment on the lighter side, please note that my professional advise to my clients had always been: "whatever you're serious about you have to have fun doing it".

Cheers!
