lumenge yes that’s a new design effort.

 

Light source are Sled based (Superluminescent diodes).
SLEDs are commercially available from a number of suppliers, e.g. EXALOS (Switzerland), InPhenix (US), Superlum (Ireland), Thorlabs Quantum Electronics (US) and Denselight (Singapore).

 

It's been a long time coming. Now the effort is underway. Sweet!
