Message: Two safe assumptions...

1.  POET will never reveal the partners they are currently working with, even when definitive qualifications and agreements are in place.  (And the partners won't reveal themselves either).

The biggies are not interested in crediting a micro cap with their own product(s) differentiator.  That part seems clear to me now.  Those foundational (to POET) companies will have the benefit of being first to market, and will get a few quarters worth of a head start.  So, we'll continue to have to sleuth the way some have on this forum with Broadcomm and Inorganic Intellegince, and then watch the Financial Reports (unless POET releases the terms of those deals).

2. A Bumper news release will come prior to Feb 19TH.

I may be proven wrong on this, but news immediately after a PP would look slightly dodgy, and news AFTER a consolidation decision would also leave some feeling jaded and wondering why we couldn't give the SP have a chance to appreciate organically beforehand?  (I realize, that a consolidation concensus doesn't necessarily mean they'll immediately execute a R/S)  Also, I keep going back to the Sept 9 release (dev & supply agreement with European Systems co) which is now 5.5 months ago, which could mean we're close to 6 month qualification cycle (depending on when those cycles would have started).  (Not sure if those are 6 or 9 month cycles).  But regardless, we appear to be in or approaching a window when that particular agreement is close to finalization.
