I did a little calculation on the assumption that yesterday’s close of 1.08 CAD would be the “right” price and that we have 304,279,313 shares outstanding.
Mathematically, the fair effect of the placement on the share price should be minimal. The price should go down to 1.07 CAD, or in fact even a little less. (Provided my calculation is correct.)
So, the market is exaggerating again, this time to the downside. However, we needed a correction anyway, POET is young and needs the money, and we have potential to the upside. All is fine.
