If this was related to an acquisition of Inorganic Intelligence I think it would be a failure for POET.  That isn't to say that it can't be successfeul but the way the events transpired should have been different.

DL as a former executive should have been subject to a non-compete agreement.  If he was able to start a company in this short amount of time that POET would want to acquire I believe Inoraganic Intelligence could be considered a competitor for arguments sake.  Further, if he created this company with a competitive advantage that uses proprietary knowlege of POETs capabilities then Inorganic Intelligence should have been a spin-off that we (shareholders) would already own.  I just can't imagine how these events could unfold as speculated on the board here.

I do still believe POET is working with Inorganic Intelligence in a way that benefits both companies.  Similar to how I think Suresh would like to pick up more shiny rocks right now but he is contrained by resources (cash and personnel).  POET is in Allentown, Shenzen and Singapore to leverage the talent base.  Those are the folks (once hired) that will pick up the shiny rocks that Suresh chooses along the way, and the sooner the better.  Suresh will continue his laser-focus the current pillars we have been made aware of.

Good luck,

Jque
