BCD I agree. I think they are looking to list with a minimum US$10 share price and it is likely to meet the requirements of a very large fund. The kind you need when taking this path. I am pretty sure this why the stock is moving up so quickly.  

Ballard just raised US$350 million priced at US$19.25 to add to their war chest. They raised US$700 million last year. Today Ballard closed at US$37

I agree the knee jerk reaction is to fear this R/S when high ratios are being quoted but something big is happening. It all comes down to the big picture. POET’s Optical Interposer has been recognized and I think it is being seen as a very big opportunity and the new investor(s) want to accelerate the growth of this company. The size of this company needs to grow to increase growth potential and breadth of application. Customers are waiting.

The stock moved big time in the upward direction today. I think there are very big plans underway. Don’t know what they are but Suresh has lots of shiny rocks to choose from.
