I am not trying to speculate the reason for the EGM. However at this point most things are potentially on the Table.

An advent of Magnitude like a Buy Out, or Merger ETC ETC would require a Press Release, Halting of the Stock.

Given that this was not in a press release, and in a Filing maybe we will learn more in the Morning.
