Our Future is in Good Hands

Please bear with me as most of you know the information, but I want to coagulate it here to make a key point.
First, let's do a little dot connecting, and let's not hallucinate, let's be realistic....
Let's focus tonight on our ex Chairman Mr David Lazovsky and the last time he represented Poet as Chairman
From the Sept 2019 AGM
The first thing you notice about him is that he is an astute businessman, he likes to focus where the money is being spent by the big 6 data center and cloud computing players (by showing charts going 5 years out) and then he says Poet is targeting its resources right there (400g) and the majority of the company's decisions are focused in that area (basically the 400g optical engine will be the company's main driver and also that the 100g and 5g wireless markets will also be in play as well because the tech is very similar, just minor tweaks to the heavy lifting is being done at 400g)
He also stated Our Tier 1 is "Pulling" us in that direction (400g fr4 dr4) and will get us designed into their infrastructure (they're in pain because 100g isn't profitable, we can help them be profitable at 400g because of our cost advantages) once again, it's all about making money folks. (He gives us some key insights by saying the customer see's our transformative cost structure to meet their needs long term as disruptive)
Why am I stating the obvious? Because It gets better....
Mr Lazovsky also makes an incredible statement regarding our position in the marketplace at the end of the meeting during the Q&A portion he says "The reason that you see the progress presented today by Suresh....is Suresh! Speaking candidly, the guy is brilliant,,,(the capability he's brought to photonics from his CMOS background).......that synergy has enabled us with this disruptive technology ." (of the OI) No doubt he seems very happy with the progress as he gives shareholders the impression we are at the right place at the right time.
Now it gets interesting
2 months later, he leaves his position as Chairman of Poet to join a VC called Khosla Ventures , while there he picks the brains of a Greek Photonics expert, he then starts up Inorganic Intelligence here's an excerpt from the link posted here the other day https://www.engine.xyz/founders/inorganic-intelligence/
Through his research during his time at Khosla Ventures, he connected with Professor Nikos Pleros of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to establish the design of the company’s proprietary photonic neural network (PNN). Devices in Dr Pleros’ team’s novel architecture and the technologies and processes used for the integration of the PNN are proven in volume production devices used in other applications.
More on Mr Pleros here:

it seems to me like we have a Reese's Solution to a massive Photonic computing problem here, whereas Mr Pleros and his team has the chocolate, Poet have the Peanut Butter, Inorganic Intelligence puts it together and makes the Photonic Peanut Butter Cup (obviously more is involved, but at this point, very tasty)
We can state this because Poets latest press release had some of the same language as stated in the Inorganic intelligence link ie;
POET’s customer for these applications is breaking the digital semiconductor mold by integrating photonics into accelerators for AI workloads, thereby enabling step-change advancements in AI computation. (This is right off the engine xyz linked above)
We also know Vivek is on the advisory board for Inorganic Intelligence. There are others there from his previous work places, then again, he's worked everywhere in this industry and probably knows everybody anyways but Also, of note in that link page, pertaining to Mr Lazovsky's vision:
Inorganic Intelligence’s founders understand that there are three pillars for a successful AI architecture. It must:
These are the same statements Mr Lazovsky echoed at the 2019 Poet AGM, same tune folks, same singer, only difference is a 65 billion dollar TAM! He basically cherry picked the highest most profitable sector (to which he will benefit greatly, who wouldn't) and maximize Poets optical interposer to its fullest potential for its greatest potential gain. Even Suresh said during his latest presentation that the AI and the optical computing space could have a 10 to 100 multiplier in units for its product demands over the data center market.
Here's the main point, Mr Lazovsky didn't leave Poet to walk into the sunset and sling back Margaritas, he left to make something special he's seen from Suresh's brilliance, something that he's seen firsthand for the entire development cycle of the interposer, let's hope for our futures, they both live up to their glorious expectations.
All imho
