Excellent video with George from Agora and POET management.  Well worth the 45 minute investment of time.

As I always preface, I'm certainly no techie, but I'm finding POET management's (esp Suresh's) layperson's explanations excellent and extremely beneficial.

In this one, Suresh explains in a way even I can I understand - 

• Artificial intelleigece - training vs inferencing - training a computer by showing it 10,000 cats vs a computer seeing an object and making the determination that it is a cat (inferencing)
• the expansion of the POET OI platform using a mining example - mining companies have processes to determine if there is gold, silver or copper, or combination of the 3, in the ground.  They then use that process to be able to determine if there are other materials in the ground.  Just like the POET platform being able to be used for different applications - in Suresh's example, the mining company finding new minerals in the ground
• the difference between POET's current projects involving data communications vs new growth into data processing
• edge computing - example of taking a picture with your phone, checking the picture, seeing your wife has closed her eyes and then taking another picture vs the computer in your camera in your phone recognizing your wife's eyes were shut and taking another picture a second later when they were open

I love this new communication approach that POET has undertaken with Agoracom.  Getting their message out at a layperson's level will help to get new eyes on POET and new investors.
