What I think is meaningful here is that Suresh has done it again. He has identified a technology that he believes has the capability to produce massively parallel computation for AI. And I believe that this technology leader is already aligned with a big end user customer(s). Suresh again provided some very good clarifications about the technology that we can dive into later. And I truly believe that POET is gaining momentum on rolling out very high growth applications because they are partnering with companies that are going to carry much of the work load and the business development.
A very key take away from all of this is that the development for multiple wavelength emission transmission and detection has already been done. And note the focus on emphasising the strength of the POET platform. It is agnostic to both the electronic and photonic chips in its ability to connect them together to provide specific needs of the application.
We should be celebrating the fact that they don’t require significant amounts of money to design new applications because the majority of that work has already been done. Think of the number of companies who would love to partner with POET for that reason.
And next week we get to hear another presentation that is directed at US investors.
