Jon, your story mirrors mine exactly, including location near Vancouver.  

 

I too jumped on the "Intertainment" train, but thankfully jumped off during the one (and only) run.  Bought OPEL and never wavered, even through the very low point during the horrific financing of 2016 and pivot in 2017.  Thank goodness I didn't liquidate during that time.
