The EC Event was to have been the debutante ball for Poet. The new tech and its vast potential to be displayed for  an audience of prominent and assumedly well-connected business men and women.

Turned out to be a total whiff, as Doc Taylor spoke several levels above the intended target. Several of our techies were there, and among the few attendees that had a clue of what those schematics represented.  

As I recall, the share price rally ended about a week before the Event.
