Perhaps no one has commented because it's not relevent to POET at the moment, concerning market verticals. The only relevance is the supply agreement between POET and Denselight. POET gets to buy lasers from Denselight at a reduced price and Denselight could have access to Optical interposer die for a product that will improve Denselights bottom line.
The elemental platforms is entirely different between companies
POET is currently modifying the base Silicon OI die for products that are Silicon chip compatable for the data market
Denselight produces Indium Phosphide wafers and die for other verticals and may be using their developmental knowledge of the OI for that strategy
Remember, the OI concept is both speed and base element egnostic.
Photonics integration is a HUGE and growing market. Many variation of integration will ultimately appear for specialized verticals.
IMO, of course
