Message: Where we are

The OFC has been moved to June, from March-April, where they expected to have their coming out party.

This is why I asked if the company could do a live demo for investors which they do as a routine for customers.

Two concerns came out of that suggestion. Firstly it could end up being way over the average investor’s heads. 2nd if it was presented to a hand full of tech savvy individuals they may be required to sign an NDA. So I think the publishing of hard test data was at least a first step to show more than just a slide show of focused individual results and present as a total product result.  Basically identifying the efficiency of a product and the characteristics across the operating temperature (IMO).

The expected metrics have previously been described as exceeding conventional and silicon photonics efficiencies, So it sounds like some of the results they are now getting are exceeding even those expectations. I think there is a danger in providing too much information in terms of triggering the competition to make an offer for the company. It would at least generate a level of investor interest that has never been seen before for POET.

Nothing to fear except for fear itself.

Focus on the  technology.
