Guernsey21: For those who missed it or just want to relive the experience, the recent GCFF presentation on YouTube.
Thank you very much for the Link, Guernsey21! I just watched the presentation, and I must say I cannot follow much of the criticism here.
Tom has explained the importance of the technology well and how its independent confirmation by Sanan IC confirms the value of the IP and its market potential – and that just for transceivers. (“… where POET will own 47% without putting up any cash whatsoever” – don’t know why he said 47% instead of 48.5%, but that’s an insignificant detail.)
However, the platform aspect of the optical interposer and the associated market potential was, in my opinion, not given enough attention. And the refrigerator was certainly not the best example for artificial intelligence! I would have preferred something like this: “Artificial intelligence model detects asymptomatic Covid-19 infections through cellphone-recorded coughs”.
