Estimated market for Silicon Photonics for 2025.This sounds like a big number but when you look at the chart of the companies involved in the whole chain and i count almost 70 from suppliers ,integrators,manufacturers etc,all getting their piece of the pie is there really that much upside here?And thats 5 years away...any thoughts..am i missing something here.

I think the bet is that many of those names will either vanish, or be acquired, thinning that field. Some suppliers will take the lion's share (our POET?). The additional bet is that the market is vastly underestimated, something that happens frequently when estimates are made of new transformative tech and the markets thereof. Adoption can stimulate exponential activities that simply aren't factored in when making (usually conservative) estimates at the outset. Recall some of the early projections for personal computers that were dwarfed when economies of scale kicked in.
