The way I read this, some Chinese appraiser did a "Pelligrino" on POET's IP and came up with a number bigger than anticipated. As a result POET gets a bigger slice of the pie.

POET's cash requirement was to come up with the $300 K (or whatever the exact figure was ) to register Super Photonics.
