Today as a trustee of a charity I was able to listen in on a Zoom meeting of a similar charity who we plan to merge with. Their trustees consisted of several rather impressive directors of major London investment and finance houses in the City.
Listening to their deliberations in the face of falling markets, the political situations both sides of the Atlantic, coupled with their lack of liquidity in falling markets, the high cost of premium equities and the possibility of low interest rates and the need, at least in this country, for our Government to inflate themselves out of the massive debt to be paid for corvid financial support measures, demonstrated to me, at least, that our expectations on this board regarding new investors arriving to raise our SP is out of reality with the state of international markets who are holding their breath to know which way to turn.
Let's be honest and recognise that the undoubted shareholder value built into our investment is not going to emerge in raised share price until international markets stabilise. This is not going to happen soon.
