It must have been be a difficult and trying experience for Dr Taylor to hand over his life's work during the Coppetti era, we have also seen examples of the previous regime expose the unpleasant side of their business nature. At the time of investing I was carried along by enthusiasm and a belief in the common sense logic of investing in photonics. Yet it regularly nagged me that much work would be required in terms of developing the business structure and relationships of a viable option electrical company.
Frankly, GT must have been appalled at the structure of early days POET Inc yet thanks to Suresh Vankatsen who with determination, vision and knowledge and despite early failures, has now brought POET to the point of being a real start up contender in the industry Is it not reasonable that GT can now recognise this and apply once again his genius.
There are legacy issues for GT and from my point of view I am delighted that there is evidence he is back on board. It is very exciting to imagine our early days hope for GaAs POET May yet manifest itself in a future product.
