Nokia Gets 5G Equipment Deal From BT in the UK

  Nokia Corp. said Tuesday that it has signed a contract with BT Group PLC to become the U.K. operator's largest vendor of fifth-generation network equipment. 
  Under the deal, Nokia will provide equipment and services at BT radio sites across the U.K., extending its long-term strategic relationship with BT. 
  BT's Nokia-powered network, which currently includes Greater London, the Midlands and rural locations, will be extended to also cover multiple other towns and cities across the U.K. 
  "This enhanced Nokia footprint will support BT's commitments to the U.K. government around the use of High Risk Vendors (HRVs) in U.K. network infrastructure," Nokia said in a statement.
