Why wouldn't the warrant-holding shorts wait for a higher price to sell short and cover?  I've forgotten, are their warrants nearing expiry?

Good question Baba. The gift that keeps  on giving. My conclusion: Why cover with warrants if  they can  cover  in the market and save the warrants.
