Forgive me for not digging out the exact announcement from TM. I think it was one of the two VR presentations he did. I am almost positive he said we will begin with Design in phase. Then move to qualifying the Prototypes. And the design in phase could take 6 to 9 months depending on location. 

Now I think we are well ahead of the curve on  the design in phase because we have been working with the Tier 1 closely. And I agree with breeze67 in timing of announcement. I just don't see the big news until they know the product is ready to go.

Also I am basing my timing on the announcement in february of a completed OI product. The design in phase shouds have began around this time.
