In the context of a trading day that saw an exciting surge forward in SP followed by an unpleasant reversal, the anxt, speculative opinions and blame game expressed here are not unnatural but the news has clearly unbalanced the board emotionally, whilst the reality is, that no material change has occurred whatsoever.  Why not then just accept the rational for the delay given?

We should remember that the funds due are from a consortium. Each member of that consortium, we know not how many, will have different abilities to meet the demand and it only takes one member who cannot do so for the call to fail requiring more time. This is not a default but a delay.

Surely, In the context of the external pressures, the unprecedented financial effects on businesses and  changes in financial circumstances caused by the pandemic, we should hardly be surprised that one member of the consortium might reasonably ask for a delay.  This by no means a disaster, the rational for this company to move forward as planned is still in place and very much alive so that we have every reason to believe that progress will continue.  The last financials showed sufficiency without the final payment arriving.

It was a shock but let's put emotions back in their box, restore rational thought by recognising the difficulties for the consortium and most importantly, that there is no change that has occured to affect the momentum of the well established plans the company has already has put  place that gave rise to our SP lodgically advancing in the first place. News confirming this is awaited but has been  signalled positively.

This is little bump in the road and not a pothole that takes ones vehicle's suspension out.
