As work continues on the transceiver optical engine designs (plural) for data centers they are also making moves towards more advanced applications.

I suspect the next announcement we get will be NRE for customer specific data center transceivers but it also appears that they will roll out their own (generic off the shelf) optical engines for transceiver module makers
