Message: Thoughts on EOY reports

Over the last year I got the impression that Bill Ring had moved on which I feel is rather confirmed by the end paragraph highlighted in italics.  I'm not really sure what an impairment analysis constitutes, perhaps the accountants out there might explain, but goodwill seems to be an issue, was there a falling out I wonder?  Pity as I know Bill to be respected in Welsh IC circles, so my Nephew Oldgreg tells me.

In Q4 2019, the Company performed an impairment analysis on its goodwill and intangible assets related to the acquisition of BB Photonics in 2016. The Company determined that these assets were impaired and consequently recognized an impairment loss of $1,764,459. No impairment was recognized in Q4 2018.
