So I was not going to bother getting into the specifics of your post but it kind of  bugs me that you did  receive a lot  of  thumbs up  on something that seems to be totally at odds with what we know.

So for the sake of ensuring people at least understand one of the fundamentals of the POET optical interposer is it is probably worth this effort to comment...

So the question is  how? The OI is a dielectric stack that is deposited at low temp and low stress onto a processed bulk silicon wafer. This is done at an 8 inch foundry in Malaysia. So it is the foundation for which the various components that make up the optical engine are fixed to.

How can the OI be a component? And as you go on to talk about assembly how a different platform and a different assembly would be applied to POET’s optical interposer. It kind of defies everything we know about it. So can you provide a sense of m how you came to these conclusions?

What customer. Assembly is taking place at contract manufacturing locations.

Maybe I misunderstood the statement?

Bottom line: It will be hard for POET to beat the drum very publically in this scenario. No matter which names are involved. I am very curious as to how they are going to play it.

Why would this be? I  kind of think that the Tier 1 might just be eager to  make a public announcement declaring that they have a solution to  industry wide problem.

And frankly considering the kind of misunderstanding in terms of the fundamentals of the basic platform it kind of suggest that the remaining conclusions regarding some kind of connection with Noephonics being the king maker just makes no sense to me. How did you come up with all these conclusions? It all seems so removed from everything we know.
