Message: Any real evidence?

You would think that after all this time we would have been conditioned to not expect the worst but to expect the rate of progress that is  typical of new technology development.

Interestingly the most difficult element of the platform was associated with the arrayed waveguide that met the requirements for CWDM. A first in industry to be produced in a CMOS flow and like so many of the elements associated with the development of a new and ground-breaking platform progress is measured in years. 

As such POET will become a target. I truly believe that once they have perfected all aspects of the platform and make it known (when and not if) then we are going to be at risk of having this company bought before we have had time to fully develop all aspects of the technology. It would not surprise me if there was work taking place that we have heard nothing about as the company gets closer to that point in time where gloves come off.
