It would certainly make a whole lot of sense that Bill Ring could possibly be the engineering link between Poet and Cisco, sulasailor. Suresh cannot be everywhere, and Suresh brought in Bill Ring. A CISCO conference that close to the OI's centre of the universe is both a complimentary gesture to Swansea University (and Bill Ring) as well as a clue for us optimists here. If Poet has been co-developing the extensions of OI with Cisco all along, then no wonder for the tight lips all of these years. Let's hope this actually becomes the catalyst for Poet.
