The stock price is being held down on purpose.

i have been hearing this for years now. Never believed it really.

Other than options being given at a low price (which isn't a factor right now) what is the point in keeping us at such a low price. It would seem to me that it would be much easier to take us out when our stock is worth nothing rather than if it was much higher.
