Message: Waves of investment

Lumenge,

First, I think your description of the waves is excellent.  As to you introductory statement:

"Baba, I don't get this, "So, my guess is when something occurs that will move our market cap up significanty and sustainably, the volume and price will rise prior to the public news release."

Is this purely based on anticipation or do you think information will leak? I think anticipation is played out. I agree with dash about no leaks, but, as Morningstar suggests I also may misunderstand your reference here."

Not necessarily a "leak," rather a willingness to buy stock in Poet by those who rightfully know the most current status of the OI (ie, the firms and people with whom we deal).  Of course there are confidentiality agreements, but a 40 cent stock on its way to a buck or more is very tempting - and the leaks, if any, may start from there, as those under NDA likely do not want to take a chance and directly buy Poet stock.  I'd be disappointed to learn that Suresh or Vivek leaked a thing, but Poet does have a number of employees, as does Denselight.  The lure of easy money is very powerful.

But we'll see, I'm hopeful that the good news I think is eventually coming will provide an example of why my thinking is correct or incorrect.

I'm also looking forward to two very interesting days in the market for POET, aka November 11 and 12.  Assuming no NR between now and end of trading tomorrow, will there be relatively heavy selling or buying in the last hour or so?  It's a coin flip for me.  And I freely admit, I find it fascinating, as it's something I at least have a chance at understanding!
