Not to throw cold water on things but perhaps Mr. Lazovsky was presented with an opportunity that couldn't be denied and this change in senior management was initiated by it. Having said that.......
- A conference call following what we believe to be the closing of tranche #1 for $8M I believe is a clear indication that the $8M is in fact imminent and;
- Mr. Lazovsky wanting to stay connected and remain on the board is a sign that recognizes what he believes is a promising future and;
- Having another well seasoned executive join the team presumably to execute on Suresh's game plan is encouraging and;
- At this point, and we've all said or thought this before, an experienced executive with a large company like MACOM would not be coming on board without having been given a sneak peek behind the curtain to assess the future potential of Poet. Evidently there is enough there or him to make the move
I believe this is encouraging but perhpas not enough to move the market in a material way, hope I'm proven wrong.
