Ya, I was under the impression GaAs had been set aside, pending, well..survival.

Just seems interesting that of all the companies they could've hooked up with, so we're told, that they chose this one.

I know there is much more to the big picture, but I wonder if SV initially thought hmmm, this is a way to the holy grail as well as solving our immediate needs...?
