The London briefing, and the prospect of wider interest, certainly got us all salivating, even I am sure, those who are now excercising their wisdom With the benefit of 20:20 hindsight. But this was pre 2017 and of little consequence now apart from the fact that Adjit Monacha recruited Suresh who is now delivering his vision with resolution and determination. He saw the value of BB and DL in that vision and took one of the hardest decisions one can make, to Change the aim by stalling GaAs development in favour of the OI development.
Thanks to the generous gift that ITTR has given us following the recent presentations at the AGM, there is very clear evidence that progress has been made this year in terms of the technology, finances, establishing a customer base, that includes at least one tier one manufacturers to the big five Datacentre providers, a marketing system primed to go and partnerships that enable mass manufacturing. All this should have silenced the nay sayers, but that is too much to hope for whilst their ilk can wave a wagging finger and tut away at the lack of movement in thE SP. I too desire SP growth but everything I imagine I understood about success for any tech start ups demands finance, the right product, at the right time, with manufacturing, marketing and sales infrastructure in place and ongoing technical support and product development. Much but not all of this is now visible. Suresh has been very clear what his plan is and his Faith in his team's ability to execute his plan.
Do others like me feel optimistic about what has been presented? I think so and sense that because the faithful can see this and that others will too. There now exists a clear case for sucess.
I certainly got the feeling from the presentation that our Chairman feels he has enough evidence to impress a wider audience and may just be on the cusp of climbing the mountain to call both the faithful and sceptical to show them the tablets of stone and open their eyes to the promised land. But the seas still have to open and the final part of the journey made. Let's hope our sins don't condemn us to wander in the desert as a lost tribe.
So let's behave faithfully and believe.
