Having now listened to the AGM broadcast, an Atlantic Cruise to the land of Ice and Fire having  intervened, I wonder what all that prior anxt recently displayed here was all about.

• There has been significant in year progress in developing the OI through to a platform approach expanding the ease of future developments that is expected to complete in the next quarter.
• Customer development with clear reference to a tier one customer is now enthusiastically pulling us into future sales, with others in view.
• A completely new beneficial shape to the company finances soon to be completed with the two tranches sale of Denselight.
• Most importantly, the accumulation of talented scientists with ever growing experience in developing POET's disruptive technology for other applications.
• All this in time to benefit from second phase 100g development and to hit the road running with 400g development synchronized to the growth of the market for that product.  Really the 'we've got nothing' brigade is naked of any justification for their gloom.

What those with gloomy outlooks here must now surely accept is that a line must be drawn under Coppetti era of POET'S history.  From the beginning of 2017 this company is under a completely different level of professional management, aufait with modern techniques in the technical development of Optical Integration and mass production through bringing all the lessons learnt during CMOS mass manufacturing at a major fab.

Our management has done a sterling job and are to be congratulated. 

Surely, Harping back to the sins of this company fathers is totally irrelevant in the light of this performance. Anyone continuing to do so is simply out of touch with reality and exposed as a lost-cause malcontent.

It has been clear for some time that the desired effects of SP growth cannot be achieved until all the foundations for a successful IO company are in place.  These are now realistically Visible on the horizon.  Making the potential of this company very desirable for anyone with an eye to the key factors for success in this industry.
