My reply to your previous was listed as a violation. Wrongfully to my mind, I’ll try again
some of the more positive posters are either absent or silent. That concerns me.”
You needn’t read any concern into their absence Dave, if our boards leading lights had bailed out the SP would be decimated.
Dont fret, just give the Recent MD&A another careful read. You’ll find that there is much in there to see the company’s in a positive position. There are clear indications in there of the due diligence undertaken by the consortium before entering into the deal to purchase DL. They are not after a fab really, its all that comes with DL that they are interested in and which gives them an entre into the world of integrated optical communication they seek. A positive scenario that motivates them to build a state of the art fab in China’s Venice. Sunzou. They want to see a return and clearly have done their homework to endorse PTK disruptive product and production plans to ensure they are in on the first wave of affordable OI products.
The fact that they are prepared to carry DL losses shows how keen that are. You must surely recognise this is a major indorsement of POET, the Optical Interposer and PTK’s readiness for mass production.
We all just have to wait with baited breath for the reveal to unfold. There is in my opinion a major player behind the secrecy and screwing up the fruit company’s earlier interest has taught PTK a business lesson, which brought Mica into the company to impose the discipline necessary to partner with the big boys of the industry.
Frankly, shareholder demand to be spoonfed information is totally unreasonable post the issue of Q2 and pre AGM that is just weeks away. Also given the scenario of interest from major players, which has been signaled to investors. Note the Quote from page 12 of the most recent presentation states ‘Microsoft and Arista are looking for an Optical Interposer’ why did they chose to quote these firms I wonder, if they are not involved it at least indicates the level of customer that caused SV to be “humbled by the level of interest”.
Come on Dave, whilst there’s never a guarantee in Venture Capital Investment, our situation is as good as it gets. So please restore your sense of confidence and determination that all may indeed be well.
