Proper AGM Attire

I have not had the opportunity to attend an annual meeting of a Canadian company in the past and my wife and I would like some help from you folks with what would be appropriate attire for this POET AGM in Toronto. We know that it is a beautiful business venue in a world class city, however, we are traveling from the states and want to travel as light as possible. Suit/tie or business casual or what do you suggest? Thank you to all who respond! See you all there!
