Message: Something to Consider?

That is not possible due to the pre-announced cap on the financing.

But this is possible :-

Our Strategic Partners Investment Syndicate did not get any POET stock in the deal to buy DL.

Yet we are told the survival of the syndicate Strategy is based on the critical success of POET OI / Optical Engine inclusion in products.

The syndicate is committed to an investment in excess of $100M USD.

If another entity acquired POET, that entity could change direction and in-turn, cut-off the Supply Chain to the syndicate. This would have catestrophic consequences to the syndicate.

One of the strongest ways to defend against this possible outcome, is for the syndicate to hold a significant position of POET stock.

So once the deal is voted in at the AGM and closure is assured, it will be very interesting to see if our enthusiastic syndicate moves to protect their $100M + USD investment by buying up stock on the open market.

Seems quite logical and likely to me.
