I suspect the company had no latitude when it came to describing who they were talking to....it may have prevented speculation of a top tier buyer, but otherwise would've done nothing to alter the trading.

I suspect that this nonsense will end quickly and the trading range will be solified now, waiting for qualification news and then orders.

It still hasn't traded as much as I own; I, and countless others here could've easily knocked this thing down the same amount because there just aren't that many buyers out there as the news we really need, orders, is yet to come.
