Somehow, someway, no matter what the expectations of this board of mostly extraordinary people think (and share), the time line gets stretched.  I think the share price action and the tranche amounts were accurate markers in telling us that whatever we were going to hear, we were not going to be as close as many here had hoped.  

Depending on the connections and power of the members of the funding consortium, this deal could end up being very good for Poet.

I have shifted my focus to October 31 - may the deal close on or before, and in the manner and for the value that Poet now expects.
