why withhold the information on the progress of their new product qualification results?

I’m sorry that you and at least twenty five others are disappointed that the company is not revealing information that would put our minds at rest.  But that is neglecting the business needs of the company, and its potential partners, currently poised in a negotiation phase before the signing of what to date will be the most important partnership in producing POET products into the future.  The security around what is planned, the timings of implementing the plan are highly critical to the future success of the relationship.

Surely, The needs of investors to know must be subjugated to the business need to secrecy at this delicate point in setting up this new relationship.  A relationship that could be easily derailed by the intervention of a third party.   Expecting management to  reveal company intentions, product performance caharacteristics could significantly advantage competitors.

We know this from even the simplest of negotiations in normal life let alone the complex highly sensitive and potentially costly nature of what is currently being undertaken by management .

 I repeat this needs time for management and patience from us.  For heavens sake cut the hurt victim dramatics, this is making a soap opera out of POETs potentially finest hour.  Watch, wait, wonder and get wowed by the great reveal when it arrives.  

Besides the real effects of these negotiations on our investment are still quite a way down stream. This is just common sense business reality.
