As Breeze reported. Suresh wishes that he could have shared more information especially the name of the buyer. And consider this. The larger the company they are dealing with the larger the number signatures involved and I suppose that probably also extends to government agencies including the EDB and any customers that are in the mix.

Honestly I think their hands are tied regarding any disclosure about the deal and where they sit on the sign off.

It is the price of doing business and I am pretty sure Suresh will explain this to all of us at the AGM. I also expect the AGM will ultimately be delayed again but I also think they are waiting as long as they can to do this in case they can get everything wrapped up in time with some divine intervention.

These things take time and I think it becomes very difficult to try and forecast. So they have to take a shot at a date, schedule and file the date to be compliant and hope that everything falls into place. The last thing I think they would want to do is delay the sale because they did not schedule the meeting in time to co-ordinate. And consider that other interested parties will be watching and any NR issued would give any potential competing buyer information that would be useful.

I think the news flow is probably being controlled by the buyer.
