Given that POET has been promoting its technology and new breakthroughs there is nothing that would prevent an end run and takeout POET in it entirety and control the entire process - including the Denslight transaction. That is the perplexing aspect of all if this - why hasn’t that happened? Possibly waiting for the completion of the Denslight deal?
We all may believe in POET and its products but we are not on the inside and able to properly assess it’s value to any party. Any company on the look out for this kind of tech would know and be able to decide the value of POET to them. That is what would set the buyout price if they wanted to do an acquisition end run. This is what happened before when II-VI stepped in.
