One thing is that POET is under NDAs with customers they are in talks or codeveloping with. Another thing to remember with tier 1 customers is that you have to follow their time table. If POET were to announce anything ahead of what a tier 1 customer wants, then they would break their NDA and they would upset the marketting strategy of their tier 1 customer. Why would POET ever want to do that in order to get the share price to rise?
As each event comes into place, there will be the right time for strategies to come together. And when it does, we have already been discreetly made aware by inference through several NRs. Who will be banging their drums hard when this is ready? Will it be the tier 1 customer saying we got POET inside? Will it be POET banging their drums saying they got POET inside? Will it simply be sales order contracts and size of them that drives POET?
