Dave - "It is incredibly hard for me to wrap my head around the fact we are apparently sitting on new-edge disruptive technology, but yet we seem unable to sustain any meaningful new investment interest."

Your lament above is a common one, and certainly contains a heavy dosage of what I've been saying for years - the potential v. the share price is a disconnect if the potential is as realizable as POET and fans believe and would have one believe.

Dave - "Our share price seems manipulated constantly..."

I think that's a gross overstatement; although it surely has been manipulated once in a while.  I can think of three occasions when it was clearly manipulated, but on two occasions the manipulation was upward (before first Empire Club Event and before the more recent, acceptable financing), and downward on one occasion (prior to the worst financing deal I have ever seen, bar none).

Dave - "There is no doubt we will be hearing news soon, it's inevitable, but what will the market response be?  With this stock, it will likely not be what we expect."

Have to agree there, Dave, although my definition of "soon" may be a couple of months longer than yours.  Macom, who I thought got what would have been nice for us to get, went down since their recent news.  True their market cap is much larger to begin with ($1.2 billion), but down?   Perhaps those in the know realize how far away they actually are?

Dave - "As we draw nearer to the PIC Conference, I am not hoping, but praying for news. REAL news to get this thing going and warrants in the money!!!!   No more BS POET, time to show us what you have been doing."

Strongy disagree (other than with respect to what Mika may claim about financing), the news we've been getting is not BS, it's real news, and part of the real news is the tech has not yet been qualified, to our knowledge, by the customers.  POET has said where they are in the process, they have told us of the excitement they feel, which, if the tech is as expected, is warranted.  They have hired a bunch of seemingly very qualified people, they have entered into a letter of intent for a key sale so as to move forward as efficienty as possible, theoretically, keeping the "franchise tech" safe.  Not fair or accurate to call it BS.  The announcement we've all been waiting for re qualification and resultant orders, well, they can't tell us that till it happens, but until then, I'm not willing to classify their, albeit infrequent, communications with shareholders as BS.

Dave - "We are your Shareholders and we are completely in the dark, as is the Market (obviously)."

I got a kick out of the above, shareholders are in the dark, but they bought in, the Market is in the dark so they haven't bought in.  Mr. Market 1, Shareholders 0!!

"And finally, this is the best investment Board hands down."

It's a very good board, especially if one chooses wisely whom to follow.  But your criticism of the board that follows (and in which I join you), kind of dirties up the caliber board, knocking it from the Pantheon of the loftiest of Message Boards.
