Hey, Dave,
Your post to which I replied had a lot of stuff in it that I think about all the time, thus my detailed response. (Since I think about it a lot, it also goes without saying that I thought the stuff is important!!!)
I thought the last conference call was very concrete, Suresh's portion being set solid and Mika's portion being freshly poured and still maleable.
I agree re NR's, CC's etc and share price - it seems the best we can get is a little anticipation run (which was far more current years ago than now), and after the event, well, it seems that most always the share price heads south. Actually hearing that sufficient money is held by Poet so as to get them through the end of the year (a little cushion in case the deal closes, but is delayed), should get us .05 to .10 sustainable upward movement - but, in thinking that, I might be falling into the same trap most of us have for the past 6 or so years.
The comment about darkness - I think you said shareholders (I'm going to use people on this board as an example of retail shareholders) were in the dark as were potential shareholders (who otherwise might buy in and lift our boat). So my point was that retail has bought and bought heavily while in the dark, but more "sophisticated" investors remain on the sidelines due to being in the dark. Well, we all know darkness can affect different people different ways! :)
